• Every mother of the sponsored child is encouraged to join women's self Help Groups (SHGSs) in their own villages.

• SHG is an animation program for women towards their self empowerment through the process of animation, training, information dissemination, capacity building, etc.
• 15 - 20 women join together and from a Self help Group called SHGs. The group will start with a minimum saving regularly and discuss their problems, issues, women's rights and atrocities, concerns along with other members. They would have meeting once/twice in a month
• In short SHG aims at over all development of women in social, economical, cultural and political spheres.
• In collaboration with BMSSS, the Archdiocesan social center
